Funkytown Summer Music Camp 2021

Monday to Friday, August 9-13 from 9am - 3pm daily.
Students in elementary, middle, and high school will work on playing instruments, singing, and performing their own songs! Price includes daily lunch and a Funkytown tee shirt.

Summer Music Camp is back!
Whether your kids are starting a new adventure in music or they are ready to take their talent to the next level, a music-filled week of friends and fun they'll never forget awaits all campers. Funkytown Music Academy’s Summer Music Camp offers students of any skill level the chance to grow over an intensive week. Through small ensemble sizes, attentive guidance from experienced teachers, and a purposefully developed curriculum, your children will be inspired in a way that paves the way to a love for the arts and long-term growth as musicians.
SMC is designed for singers and modern rock band instrumentalists. Our vocalist track will teach students proper breathing and singing techniques, using chorale, show tunes, and a cappella pieces. Our rock band track is created specifically to challenge singers and students on drums, piano/keys, ukulele, bass, acoustic, and electric guitar players.

At the Friday Night Live showcase, you'll be able to see and hear the progress your children and teens made over the course of just one week! Friends and family are all invited.
Summer Music Camp is only $299!
A few notes about payment for this memorable, fun-filled week:
-Funkytown Music Academy students and University United Methodist church families receive $50 off per student.
-Nuclear families pay a $300 max for up to 5 students.
-And most importantly, we are passionate about serving our community, so we created scholarships for anyone who might need one. Or two.
A deposit of $50 is required to complete registration for each student. The balance is due July 10, 2021.
